[So Perry decided to go check out the Sprout Tower after finally making his way to Violet City and found himself charmed by a pretty cute Pokemon in there and decided to catch him.

And, well... after he read the Pokedex entry for the guy...]

Can people please tell me if the Pokedex entry for Phantump is just a legend or not?

Because if it's true why are people letting this poor thing fight?

It shouldn't be allowed.

That's possible. It would be a bit disturbing if all of that species were the souls of children lost in the woods, just from the number of victims there would have to be. It doesn't really make a whole lot of sense from that perspective.

Or they split off from the parents at a very young age. There's a lot of reasons the parents might not have been around. How is your Phantump doing, by the way?

[Since we're talking about the poor thing losing it's parents and everything...]
