[So Perry decided to go check out the Sprout Tower after finally making his way to Violet City and found himself charmed by a pretty cute Pokemon in there and decided to catch him.

And, well... after he read the Pokedex entry for the guy...]

Can people please tell me if the Pokedex entry for Phantump is just a legend or not?

Because if it's true why are people letting this poor thing fight?

It shouldn't be allowed.

[If you were able to see him, Perry is currently tearing up a little while hugging a slightly confused Phantump.

I don't like letting my Pokemon fight :( we shouldn't be fighting each other!! I know it helps them be stronger but there are other ways to be strong too!!!

[Perry was considering saying that he normally doesn't mind his Pokemon fighting, but children were unfortunately one of his biggest weaknesses.]

You're very right. One's ability to beat someone up isn't a measure of how strong someone is, after all.

It's good to be strong sometimes cus sometimes you need to be big and strong to break things! And smash stuff!

But you also have to know when NOT to smash. Sometimes all you need to do is talk it out!! Smash with your words! With your feelings!

And sometimes when you don't smash a thing the person you're fighting against thinks you don't think they're worth it.

But I agree, there are many times when even just listening can help a situation more than just beating people up.

And sometimes you have to fight because even if you wanna talk, the other people don't :( Even if you REALLY THINK it would be a good idea!!

But we have to keep people safe and sometimes that means fighting even if it's bad.
