Can people please tell me if the Pokedex entry for Phantump is just a legend or not?

Because if it's true why are people letting this poor thing fight?

It shouldn't be allowed.

There's a few like that, who used to be people. I've got a Yamask who doesn't like fighting, so I don't have him do any.

It's up to your dead kid what they want to do, I guess.

Yeah, I've heard about Yamask. Are they supposed to be cursed or do all people just become Yamasks when they die?

Hell if I know. Edmund doesn't even know and he's been a Yamask for ages probably. He thinks it might be that he felt he still had important things to do after he died.
