[Perry has been in Johto for a few months now and, while he is getting used to things, he can't help but miss home dearly. Luckily while he hasn't run into any of his real family yet, he's actually made friends so he couldn't say he was lonely, but...
Well he did really miss fighting without the aid of Pokemon. After doing some thinking, he decided that, as long as it's on mutual terms, fighting someone else probably wouldn't be too looked down upon.
Besides he and Heinz weren't nemeses anymore so it's not like he would be offended if he found out, right?]
Hey.
So I was wondering if anyone is interested in a temporary nemesiship with me. I am highly experienced in fighting but I am also willing to go easy on someone if they are not too experienced in fighting
I'm traveling currently but I am also fine with impromptu fights if we learn we're in the same town at the same time. I'm also planning on getting the badge needed to learn Fly soon too if that helps any.
I'm not really used to paying for a nemesis, but I am willing to at least buy you a coffee after our fights, or possibly some lunch depending on the time of day at the end of thwarting. If you feel like that's not enough I can be persuaded to pay more.
Schemes aren't necessary but always nice.
If anyone is interested feel free to contact me either on this post or text me through my inbox.

You wanna pay someone to let you beat them up?
[text]
A nemesiship is not "beating someone up". It's more complex than that.
[text]
[You literally just said you wanted to pay somebody to get in surprise fights with.]
[text]
But it involves two people understanding and respecting each other each other. If your nemesis starts doing a speech, you have to listen to them the whole way through. If they are feeling down, you make sure to comfort them no matter what.
If two nemeses care for each other enough, it becomes less like fighting and more like working out with each other.
Saying that nemeses get paid to beat each other up is like saying teachers get paid to force children to sit down and be quiet.
[Perry, that's not quite the same thing.]

[Guess who read the network post.
This was probably one of the oddest ways of asking for a friend, Perry.]
[Action/Text]
Words still aren't great for him so he reaches for his Pokegear to explain.]
I was just thinking about my old nemesis from back home.
Guess I got homesick.
[Perry that doesn't help at all.]

Wouldn't that be more like a rival then? Or just a friend who is friendly competition? Because I thought a nemesis was meant to be your downfall...

...Guess who's currently running towards Perry, waving an arm in the air like a wild maniac.]
Oh oh OH! Pick me! Pick ME!
[Guess who probably didn't read the whole thing. Or knows what a "nemesiship" is.]
[Action]
Perry just rolls his eyes and shakes his head "no" to him. You are less evil than Heinz, Teddie, there is no way you could make even a terrible nemesis.]
[Action]
Aww... No one ever picks me for nothin'...

So what is it that you do, exactly?
I mean, if we're talking proper nemeses here that implies some sort of opposing agendas or something, right?
[text]
And yeah, I was thinking about possibly a proper nemesis.

But since I don't plan on being here for the rest of my life I figured saying that this is temporary is important.

And what kind of'schemes' are you talking about?

They only see those who oppose them as obstacles and don't care about us at all.

I guess when you're used to fighting baddies it kinda makes sense. Just wasn't the first word I'd think of.
