so what else should i know about this place besides how time is strange here?

You'll have to deal with the locals challenging you to Pokemon battles.

It takes some getting used to, but it's not a bad thing.

[Well, except for Team Rocket, but they seem to be lying low.]

Pokemon are the wildlife here, but they're usually tamed just from being captured in Pokeballs.

so the pokeballs somehow "tame" the pokemon?

[Perry couldn't help but wonder how ethical it was. Hmm, maybe he should just ask the Pokemon if they want to join him.]

I could probably get used to doing battles. it would give Bartholomew an excuse to not sleep all day anyway.

I think so? I'm not really sure, though.

I do know that I've never had one of my Pokemon attack me, but maybe someone out there is a bad Pokemon trainer who would end up with a Pokemon that's aggressive towards them.

Pokemon are just... nicer than I'd expect from wild animals, but maybe that's because they're not technically wild; they seem to understand it when people talk to them.

that's good to know, although i personally never had a problem with "wild animals" from back at home.

[Although, to be fair, agents weren't really considered "wild animals" and Perry hasn't had too much interaction with actual wild animals.]

[Truthfully, Banjou hasn't had much of a problem either, but that might be because the wild animals in Tokyo are squirrels and birds.]

I'm sure that won't be a problem, not here anyway.

Pokemon are intelligent; ones out in the wild might not be interested in talking to people, but I've seen how they act on their own anyway.

that's good to know at least. that will probably make things easier.

I'm sure you'll manage until you go home. Hopefully you're able to get home soon, but this place is nice; not much happens here.

well i guess a vacation would be nice at least, even if i don't have a choice over it.

It's probably the best way to think of it.
